On December 8, 2024.
Forces loyal to Syrian President al-Julani, the former leader of al-Nusra Front and Baghdadi’s deputy in ISIS, carried out a large-scale military operation in Latakia province.
They attacked and massacred Alawite areas in Syria, killing entire families, including women, children, men, and the elderly. In addition, they killed over 34,000 civilians for religious, ideological, and sectarian reasons.
More than 250,000 civilians fled to Lebanon for fear of being killed.
More than six thousand Alawites fled to Hmeimim airport, the Russian base on Syrian territory. They are still in Hmeimim.
After the massacre, soldiers of the terrorist Syrian president besieged the residents of Alawite villages on the Syrian coast.
The residents of the area were deprived of water, food, and electricity. Al-Julani’s soldiers also destroyed hospitals, robbed them and destroyed their contents.
